It's that time of year again to watch the fun filled spectacle of thousands of colorful eggs spread as far as the eye can see get scooped up by the cutest little kids from Melrose and beyond! This year for 2012 we will be offering fun activities for everyone, and for a lucky winner, GRAND PRIZE TICKETS to 
Sesame Street Live at the Agganis Area on April 22nd! WOWEE!!! There will also be tickets to Stone Zoo's Bunny Bonanzoo which is hosting an afternoon of activities at the zoo for the whole family until 3pm.

Beanstalk Toy Shop is a proud member of the Lego Family. No more long drives to Burlington for the newest Star Wars / 
Cars 2 or standard Lego / Duplo needs. We have a great selection in stock for all the dedicated designers of Melrose. If you haven't already heard, there's a great LEGO CLUB at the public library. So in-between books, you can build to your heart's content. We will be working closely with the library to help bring exactly what Melrose wants... the very best of LEGO.
Breyer Fun Day
June 11, 2011 - Breyer Fun Day was a HUGE success during the Celebrate Melrose promotion. Pal-O-Mine the horse was on the scene in downtown Melrose for some fun photo ops. All the kiddies who played our games and made our crafts went home with fun prizes, and the Limited Edition Breyer up for raffle is safe and sound with "Isabelle" at her home. It was a true pleasure to see the generations of Breyer Fans participate in our first Breyer Event. Thanks to all who helped!
Melrose Egg Hunt 2011
On Saturday April 23rd at 10AM, Beanstalk Toy Shop hosted the first ever Melrose Egg Hunt at the Melrose Common. Sponsored in part by Mayor Robert J. Dolan, Melrose Chamber of Commerce, Music 101, Hunt's Photo, Signarama, and Expertees, this was an event not to be missed!
Everyone at Beanstalk Toy Shop wants to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who braved the cold and slightly rainy morning to watch the spectacle of 5,000 toy-filled eggs covering the Melrose Common being hunted by eager little kiddies. A great job was done by all!
A most special THANK YOU to Emcee Mayor Robert J. Dolan and our dedicated volunteers who made this successful event a reality! HIP-HIP-HOORAY!!!

Little Erasers are a Big Help
Apr. 2011 - With your help, all profits from sales of Japanese manufactured Iwako Products, maker of the incredibly popular "Japanese Eraser" (an eraser, toy, and puzzle all-in-one) stickers, and pencils, were donated directly to the American Red Cross to support the Japanese Tsunami Relief Effort. Thanks to all the little ones who saved up their pennies to help out another little one!
Toy Drive
Dec. 2010 - CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE for making our first TOY DRIVE a wonderful success! In less than 3 weeks we were fortunate enough to collect donations of new unwrapped toys, games, puzzles, books, and crafts from over 100 families resulting in well over 200 gifts for the brave children who spent the Holidays at Children's Hospital Boston.
Every donation was hand delivered early Dec 23rd making sure Santa's helpers at the Hospital had plenty of time to get them ready for the kids. We hope this can be a wonderful tradition for Melrose and neighboring towns to share with others in need over the Holidays. A big thank you to all who participated! May the New Year bring everyone health and happiness.
